I'll just have to bow to your obviously much wider knowledge of prison interiors.

Dancing to the firestation rock just doesn't sound or scan so well.

That would be a crazy story line.

Ever started a thread, and then wished you'd never bothered ?

Thanks a bunch, Pete.

If you think that's bad Rob, then I best not get into what Sad Sack did with that wooden chair.

Well, no, actually, but I saw what happened to Peter O'Toole in Lawrence of Arabia.
Does that count ?

What happens to Elvis in Jailhouse Rock isn't real, but what happens to Peter O'Toole in Lawrence Of Arabia is?

Well, I never said that, did I ?
I simply stated that I saw what O'Toole's fate was in that film, although I've never been in a real Turkish prison.
So I have no idea whether the Lawrence of Arabia depiction was accurate or not.
Firemen's poles, however, were conspicious by their absence.............

Spellbinder wrote:Well if there were no firemen's poles in the Lawrence Of Arabia sequences we can, I think, conclude that the depiction was not accurate.
Can't we? Why ?
Now, hold on, I'm getting confused here. No change there, then....
Did we decide that "Firestation Rock" was the original lyric or not? It wasn't
And were there any Poles on the Titanic? Yes there were, & a few Hungarians too...
