Looks like the Chicago Beat is a frikkin boot of a boot of a boot!
imo this is not the first generation copy... Eternal Flame photo of
his back fits nicely with the title... I mean, we know what he looks like,
up front, a little designers freedom doesnt hurt? Guess it does

Ah, Forever Young, Forever Beautiful (Memphis Flash Records - JL 92447).
That sucker came out in 1978, and I bought it! It was the first issue of the bizarrely entertaining Eddie Fadal home jam session, with Elvis, girlfriend Anita Wood, Eddie and his little daughter all chiming in at various times on songs like "Happy, Happy Birthday Baby." It was taped in May 1958. The infamous Paul Lichter was behind this beauty -- despite plenty of photos from the period, he put that inappropriate piece of original "art" on the cover.
Those were the days!

3577 - who was it who sketched the pic of Elvis on that cover ?
For me I love it, I think it's great as it in no way caricatures a bad point about Elvis. I'm sure Elvis would have liked that as well.
