What is your fave Elvis Lp cover art ...and memories of it?

I have to say "Elvis Country". There's a whole bunch of emotional stuff tied up in that.

My Dad bought it almost the day it was released, he wore out 4 vinyl copies over the years, I've still got the last copy he bought in about 1980 and the CD that replaced that.

The cover was a nice concept, and the "I'm 10,000 Years Old" strapline.

I'm not sure if it really counts a "concept" album, but I like the cover, and it remains a favourite.

Thanks, Kemp! Those are beauts! I was going to post all the other covers y'all mentioned,
but for time reasons, you're on your own. A bunch of you might find
Ernie's import LP section in the "ELVIS SQUAD" section of FECC to be fun.
Even in the CD age, it's enough to make one want to have some of the
original LP boots!

By the way, I've noticed that quite a few RCA CD covers are different versus the original
Lps -and not for just their puny size!

EPA- 5101 is really nice. A TOUCH OF GOLD VOL.2.

Elvis's Christmas Album 1957 caught my eye in a record shop window in Manchester it was 37/6 Sterling:-) Back then a small fortune for a fifteen year old.

This pic is of a re-issue. But it has the original 12 songs.

Further to my previous post, I forgot to mention that the sleeve photo has nothing to do with the contents of the album !

So right from the start they established this rule !

But this time it didn't matter; the sleeve caught exactly the public perception of this new, exciting young singer.

He wasn't overweight on the Moody Blue cover. The picture used came from Hawaii in November 1972.
