Re: Leaving Graceland
He looks to be driving his 1975 Cadillac Brougham - not sure when he took delivery, but late 74 would seem about right.

Re: Leaving Graceland
The may well date to October 1974, and perhaps even to this night:

Happy Birthday, Elvis! This is from October 1974...My friend Lisa and I were riding around and went to see some friends that worked at the Exxon station that used to be on Stateline Rd at the Interstate in Southaven and Elvis was there.
He was driving a yellow and black Pantera (That I heard he later SHOT with a pistol! LOL) It was giving him trouble on the interstate and he pulled off to look at it. He invited us back to Graceland, made us coffee and we sat and talked for hours.
He also invited us to come back the next night and go swimming in his pool..and of course we did. This pic was taken just after we got out of the pool.
We caught him leaving to go to a party with Linda Thompson and he was nice enough to take this pic with us before they left. He was a true Southern Gentleman!

Who are the two young men? They look familiar.

The one on the left is James Stump and the one next to him is Ricky Joslin...they worked at the service station and helped Elvis get the car running again.

Cliff Higdon
looks like Elvis smoked a doobie before heading out to the party

I'm pretty sure he did but he was still nice enough to wait while Lisa ran to the car and grabbed the camera and it was one of his body guards that took the pic for us...I wish i had been thinking cause I would have asked Linda Thompson to be in it too....I thought about that later!

Re: Leaving Graceland
I hope his seat belt is properly fastened.
Does anyone know if Elvis fell out of the car on this night?

Re: Leaving Graceland
I'd say yes, someone would have noticed if he had. Maybe not Elvis himself, but someone else would have done. Well, you'd hope so at least.
