I am saddened by Ken's passing. Always enjoyed his posts and PM's we shared. What a valiant fighter he was. He demonstrated such bravery, determination, and dignity through his illness.
My prayers for Joanne and Ken's family and friends in these days.
Rest in peace, my friend.

Dear all,

I have Ken's address from when I sent him a copy of my book to read during his chemo sessions. If it is OK with you all I will send a condolences card to Joanne and his family and paste all the messages written in this thread. I think it would give her some comfort to know just how respected Ken was on this forum and how much he's going to be missed.

Andrew
A lovely idea and a great gesture of you. Totally support it.

Even before his ordeal I think Ken was one of the most, if not the most, beloved members of this forum. Always respectful, always friendly, often times funny. Just an all around good guy! Personally he gave me the feeling I had a true Elvis friend overseas that I could drop in on any moment when in the neighbourhood. And I am sure he would have welcomed me with open arms! His passing is a true loss for us all, but that can not be compared in any way with the feeling of loss Ken's lovely wife Joanne and all of his loved ones are experiencing now. My heart goes out to all of them!

Compliments to Greystroke for his very moving words. No one could have done that better.

Rest in Peace Ken, my heart felt condolences go out to his Wife and family.
I did have a tear in my eyes when I read all of the messages from our very kind FECC members.

God bless you Ken.

Like a lot of members, I kept coming everyday because I thought of him.

A very positive inspiration, strange how you can feel close to someone's humanity without having met once.

Thank you, Ken, rest in peace.

I knew that some morning I would log on and find this.

This board is better because he was here, and I am better because I knew him. I exchanged a very personal message with him a couple of weeks ago that I'll never delete. He will also never be deleted in my heart. He was a good guy who found something good about everyone.

Rest in peace, Ken. I love you, brother.

I never had the privilege of directly interacting with Ken, but his positive outlook was always one I enjoyed reading over the years. I am praying for his family and friends, including those here on FECC.

I remember Seeing, Ken, around Memphis when we were both there back in the 80's. And we've had a few interactions on this board over the 20 years or so.

He was a kind, lovely man, and a brave one. He'll be missed.

R.I.P. Ken.

Dan.

I'm grateful that he lived long enough to see the "Get Back" documentary re-release that he seemed so excited about.

Condolences to his family - rest in peace Ken.
