?, Red West, Elvis
Anyone know anything about this photo? This print was once glued to a scrapbook, judging by the glued paper on the back.

It is definitely from the time he was filming King Creole.

Yes, definitely early 1958. Great image and new to me. Thanks.Juan Luis wrote:Early 1958 is approximate date. Thanks.
Sorry, but I don't know who is the man shaking Elvis' hand.
Where did you get the photo ? Just curious about your comment on the glued black.

From a box of prints I purchased many years ago. Just noticed the back (when I scanned last night), that was as if was ripped off from a page from those old scrap books.Mister Moon wrote:Yes, definitely early 1958. Great image and new to me. The photo appears in Erik Lorentzen & Pal Granlund's 'King Creole: Frame By Frame' book. However, the man's identity isn't revealed. I would guess, as it's on set, he's either a cast member or a production member.

I don't think it's Gary Pepper.
In 1958, Gary was in his mid twenties, and this man looks older than that.

you got a point here, at first glance he look like Gary. Right answer might show up here later tonight.Mister Moon wrote:I don't think it's Gary Pepper.
