"Hound Dog" has never shown up in stereo because it doesn't exist in stereo. "Hound Dog," "Don't Be Cruel" and "Anyway You Want Me" were recorded on a twin-track tape machine. However, the board was mono and the same mono signal went to both tracks of the tape.

Where has it been documented that Webster Hall was recording on 2-track in July, 1956?tarobe wrote:"Hound Dog" has never shown up in stereo because it doesn't exist in stereo. Perry Como's "Round And Round" was recorded 2-track, but that was six months later.

Perhaps the most interesting would be binaural sessions of loving you and the christmas album of 57 and the stereo or binaural sessions of king creole..cause it is sure that they were at some point existing...is it still the case today...not so sure...perhaps they were erased in the late fifties or in the hands of a non sharing collector..

And this is...? All I get is a log-in page.
Where is it documented that Webster Hall was recording on a 2-track machine in July 1956?
