Very nice!

Is this from a mag, or maybe an in-store ad?

I actually have the "Elvis Sings Christmas Songs" album. My parents owned it and gave it to me when I got married. I still listen to it every Christmas.

Neat. Where is the ad from? It looks to be from December 1965.

Thanks Ken! :smt023
I would love to add it the Banner article on my site ( http://www.elvisechoesofthepast.com/rca ... e-banners/ ) if that is okay with you, but only if it is certain that this was in fact an in-store ad and not a repro of a vintage magazine-ad.
However the case, a very cool though piece.

A similar version of the ad ran on page two in the November 6, 1965 issue of Billboard.

So a 2000's reproduction with the 'splodge' being the 'replica from the Graceland archives' stamp?! :(

No, but I've never been a lover of copies / reproductions / fakes etc. To me they confuse collectors and lower the value of the originals. Some people even try and pass these things off on ebay in order to dupe the buyer.

That`s why the graceland stamp is on this stuff, So people know it`s a replica, And Ken isn`t trying to pass any of this off as the genuine article he`s just sharing these with us and most of us are quite happy to take them for what they are, Replicas.

Cheers Ken :smt023
