The FW mix is interesting as the backing vocals and orchestra are hardly there.
It's Elvis and the TCB band, a bit like the astrodome sound but in better quality.

As I already have the original, I may pass but interesting for those who missed the original release!

Perhaps the excellent FTD Sold Out! inspired the bootleggers to re-release this show which took place just a week prior to the Cleveland show..

Is this show released on any other cd than the one mentioned in the add? And also: how is the sound on that particular cd?

I have the show on 2 different boxes.I have not compared the sound, but my guess is that touring in the 70's has got the better sound?
So I will not buy this show for a fourth time.I got rid of the man in white earlier.

Man in White is in a very dull, lifeless sound.

I`d recommend this re-release to anyone who dont have the original...the boxes are the true rip-offs
taking a bunch of SBs which were aleady released elsewhere......

Don't have the original or the boxes. I must have missed this one back in 02. But with Houston 76, Creeping Crud, Tuscaloosa, the FTD's, I'm wondering if I also need this one....

I know I know, if you get Houston you should also get this one...

But still, is this a good show?

:sosorry: A totally bad release concert is 100% completely 'routine' and better shows happened later this tour. no way i would consider this esseantial b4 Amarillo,Kansas,Milwaukie,Omaha shows- not for me!~ :smt004

Identical shows maybe, but soundwise Fort Worth is the best, comparable to the recent Cleveland FTD..

If the sound has been improved, I'll put THE MAN IN WHITE - VOLUME 1 on sale.

How many times do you think you need to let everyone know that you don't want this release? How many times have you said this before and then went ahead and bought it anyway and then praised it? Shall I go back and list some of your prior posts criticizing a CD before you have ever heard only to praise it later?

I'm betting that in the long run, this will be in your collection. Until that day comes, I'll let you know how it is.

By God!

Damn, could not contain myself and ordered it. Hell, that's the life of collectors, right?

It's good really.
Ronnie nicely upfront so a different sound as the balance is usually poor

 what i find so offensive about this release is
a.) Zero 'new' just a re-hash plus filling up short CD running time with a few tracks stolen from the Fort Worth 1976 bootleg~!
b) uninteresting show- you may as well buy the FTD releases from this tour instead :D
c) really dubious reports about sound up-grade -when its NOT out yet!~
i can 100% happily stay with what soundboards i have from this tour THANKS!~
