Sounds good LSP-4445. I would like to see the Audifon - Behind Closed Doors set see its legal release. But this time from the original masters. This was my favorite Bootleg of all time.

That wont happen but you could make a 2 disc cdr of this release as everything (?) is released officially by now.

okay LSP4445, when will the info. be posted for us?????

Sounds good but the tracklisting had probably been altered after reading all of our comments here... :P

I always look forward to the latest FTD releases, but I can wait for any delay. I still have CDs sitting on the shelf that I've not had a chance to listen to yet.

I'm going to enjoy the hell out of my retirement someday.

They are remixing the masters for GI Blues with studio chatter. How interesting. I don't have the recent boots and the sound quality should be great on an official release on both masters and alternates.

So the November FTD of "American Sound Studio" will be the remaining masters and outtakes from these sessions - am I reading that correctly? If so, sounds great!

I look forward to November!

I also look forward to G.I. Blues vol. 2!

While some will moan that the opening and closing show from 1970 have been released a number of times on bootleg, it is great to see these fine shows getting an official release, and once again means that those who don't support illegal product are not missing out on key shows. The 3rd entry in the American series also could be very interesting, and presumably will concentrate on the songs released outside of the two main albums. While I like G I Blues very much as a film and album, the thought of another two hours of outtakes beyond what we already have outside of FTD leaves me a little cold, I have to confess.

Was hoping for Moody Blue in the 1st batch but 2 good albums in October & another 2 in November :D Opening & closing shows are great with Gavel Road live, 1st live versions of a few songs & elvis on piano (?) Lawdy miss Clawdy & on guitar for one night & now or never. G.I. Blues outtakes in perfect sound :) only just seen Octobers track listings but already looking forward to the November tracklisting :D

Re: NEW FOLLOW THAT DREAM - LATE SEPTEMBER RELEASES

WELL this is somewhat quite different than what i was expecting..... but as i never bought the 're-relesed' bootlegs of opening and closing shows...the double live 1970 CD's will be welcome by me.other 2 look worth getting also....
so it looks like this time around i will be buying all 3.
somewhat surprised by this final 'news' and no 'moody blue'!~
still it ain't bad so thats main thing and FTD sound always makes buying them 'worthwhile' :D

This is a welcome surprise!

Does anyone know if FTD got access to Bill Porter's original master analog source tapes for this release? If so, this could be a significant sonic upgrade. The bootlegs sound like they are from copies with digital noise reduction applied.

I don't get it with "G.I. Blues, Vol. 2" - why are there so many masters included (again) and why is the instrumental Gramafunken version of "Wooden Heart" included on Disc 1 and 2?
