Parts of Oklahoma Leveled by Tornado

Tue May 21, 2013 4:50 am

Today's was the worst, though it also started yesterday. Many dead and many more injured today.

They need money and blood donations, and if you're near, you can volunteer when search and rescue is completed.

Do not give used clothing. They just issued this directive.

Just what the world needs, more death, hurt and destruction! My prayers go out to the people involved.

Yeah, the liberals in Washington, D.C. are probably scrambling to outlaw tornadoes now!

Not a good time for political grandstanding. This is a very sad and tragic event.

Due to insomnia I'm watching that on the news right now.
It's just horrible. My prayers go out to all.

I'm going to be in Oklahoma next week approximately 60 miles from this destruction. I'm sure I'll see bits and pieces of it in person. I cannot imagine what these people are feeling, especially the parents of the dead children. It was so sad watching this last night.

My heart goes out to them.

Too late - a couple of democrats already did. This was yesterday - the day of the tornado. They just couldn't wait to play politics.

Just additional proof that American liberals are more detrimental to the well-being of the U.S. than a thousand Osama Bin Ladens!

They are the cancer within!

Unbelievable! That's almost a miracle that good woman and her poor dog went through all that, and was still able to walk away.

That lady is a little less lonely tonight. A small thing, but this will help her. And maybe give some others some hope.

And she seems strong, a person who would help others if she could. I'm glad she got him back.

The people of Moore, Oklahoma are a strong, resilient people. This is the 4th major tornado to that town in the last 15 years.

That little dog was maybe knocked out for a while or was just too terrified to come out. He must've recognized his master's voice during the interview and decided to work his way out... very slowly.

My thoughts and best wishes are with the people in Moore. A real tragedy, luckily in the UK we don't have to suffer these devastating Tornadoes. I have nothing but sympathy for the folk that have lost everything - to lose your home and personnel possessions is just heart-breaking, but even that falls in significance when compared to the loss of family and loved ones. My deepest condolences to all who are affected by this horrendous tragedy.
