On a side note ...

Is it just me, or do others find David B. Hecht's photography of Elvis in January/February 1956 less than impressive?

Hecht seems unable to capture the fire and excitement that was Elvis -- almost every other major group of 1956 images we have of Elvis, on or off stage, seem to be preferable, especially those by Al Wertheimer.

I found another one which Davide has posted before, but only in b&w. This is from a 1988 calendar.
