Not exactly one of my favorites either. It remove the attention away from his face, and all you see is the tiger. I'm not a big fan of the jumpsuits post 1972, but he looks so much better in the Blue rainbow suit.

The girls from ABBA wore similar designs, so I guess it was a fab of the time.

I much prefer some of the embroidered 1974 /75 suits over the heavy stones of the 1973 suits. A prime example is the same design on the arabian / pharoah suit (the one worn in Memphis, or CS Sept 73) looking so much better in it's embroidered incarnation as the king of spades suit.

The Tiger one is maybe the least effective, but still very striking.

I like the Tiger Suit. The belt is really striking, as are the designs down the sides of the legs.

call it. This was only worn for a short time
during 1974.

October 7 1974 (8:30 pm) Wichita, Kansas -

The graphic on the chest is a bit over the top. Especially the "attack mode".

But it's a great link to his karate period which was at it's peak in '74.
I can imagine when Elvis walked out on stage wearing this it created an impact.

'Tiger' was Elvis' Pasa Ryu karate nickname, the name Kang Rhee had given him. A tiger suit for the tiger man.

Agreed. I always thought the tiger on the front was just too much. Almost like a big iron-on picture or something. I think the tiger design like on the legs and collar, would look good on the front where the suit zips up. Kind of like the Indian Chief suit.
