What i notice on this rare version is that it has the studio intro to it, and its diffrent to what we heard on the other live versions.
What is the earliest live version of this song and was this arrangement used more then once?

That's just about the earliest live version. Quite good too as is that whole show.

This season is most of the time considered as "without inspiration".
Most shows are indeed very "rushed" and pretty short.
What not means they where bad.
The 19th ms is full of good spirits, rare songs and excellent performances.
If he really wanted, he could sill deliver.

I don't know, it wasn't up to the three before but early 1971 Elvis still took the old songs far more seriously than he ever would again some nights.

from my viewpoint Elvis performed much better shows during the last week of this season and the one on 19th +23rd bears this out.
Bruce Jackson Born June 3rd 1949- Died January 29th 2011 Elvis's Sound Engineer from 1971-1977.

Absolutely..the shows before were pretty uninspired..just by listening..YDKM wrote:from my viewpoint Elvis performed much better shows during the last week of this season and the one on 19th +23rd bears this out.
But I think seeing him perform was a quite different experience..he was
still in good shape physically and watching his karate act while performing
S.Minds and others must have been ass kickin..
Thanks to Ernst Joergensen, Roger Semon and Erik Rasmussen for the great work. Keep the spirit alive !
