December 2nd 1968

A smaller version of this appeared here recently, I got this one from Facebook. Is my date correct?



Charlie is driving and Elvis looks as though he's holding a device to open the gate at Hillcrest Drive, his thumb about to press the button. Electric gates were installed on May 8th, 1968. Cool pic

P.S. -- What he's holding is really a VERY early version of that new "Pono" player that Neil Young is backing! (24 bit digital music!)

I have these down in my files as December 2, comparing them from other known photos from that date, don't know for sure if it's correct or not though :
