hi
what do you think JR should become in the next episodes ?

Larry Hagman will most likely be written out of the show in a similar way to how Jim Davis was written out of the original Dallas series.
Then the show goes on without his character.
No way they replace Mr.Hagman with another actor.

Agreed. Larry Hagman will not be replaced. The public would not accept it.

JR decides his true hapiness is spending his golden years having showers with Rob, and so he leaves Dallas for good. All is well.

He was one of a kind so I know he won't be replaced.

I won't watch it without Hagman.

I'll watch it when it comes back next year, they've given larger roles to the younger ones anyway...

rumor has it that Jack Nicholson is regarded to replace JR ..... but Nicholson is no tv serie actor i guess ?!

I agree, Larry Hagman and the role he created as JR Ewing is irreplacable. Allow his character to "ride off into the sunset."
A wonderful actor both in Dallas and quite funny in
"I Dream of Jeannie."
R.I.P Larry

I think he should die in the series, and they can give him the send off he deserves, buried with Miss Ellie and Jock...

I don't know about "role model" although if I could get away with being an alcoholic, cheating, caniving, money making womanising oil baron I'd give it a go.

I really love the new show. I was afraid it was going to be a train wreck but have been pleasantly surprised, but if JR does not get the ending he deserves there will be much anger.

I did like the new show in a guilty pleasure sort of way but really just for the old guard of JR,good ol' Bobby,Sue Ellen and the underused Cliff Barnes.
The new boys/gals didn't do much for me and they will have to do something special to fill the void left by Larry Hagman's demise.I doubt that it can happen and the New Dallas will be short lived. We'll soon see I suppose.
