1974 Photos

Hi, are there any other shots from when Elvis attended an event, I believe it was a football game, in June or July of 1974? He's being escorted and it's taken slightly from the side. It's a really weird photo in that Elvis looks his 1970 self from head to toe. It's a black and white photo and he's wearing dark clothes, which could account for his body looking thin, but even his face is quite lean looking, plus the hair is more in line with the 1969-70 style. It's such an anomaly in that he didn't look that skinny at any other time of the year (or really even after Aloha).

I'm at work now so I can't post the photo, so hopefully people know what I'm talking about. But in regards to Elvis's appearance at the time, it has long interested me. Could the date be off?

Now looking at it again, he may not look quite as slim as I suspected but he's thinner than he looked at any point during the year (and he still looked really good up until at early fall of '74).

No, he'd just gotten out of the shower when I saw him on May 21, 1977. He looked drenched before he ever put the guitar on. It took a couple of songs before I saw sweat on the '74 gig.

1974 is a very odd year for Elvis in many ways, not least appearance wise. He'd put on quite a bit of weight for the very short 1 week tour in May, looking quite big around the middle, yet by July, as seen in these karate photos, he looked incredibly slim again - the weight had dropped off him, and I guess that's a similar timeframe to the football photo we're discussing.

Hi karlos,
I believe the first and third photos here may be from Wichita gig. My reasoning is that the girls are wearing yellow in the first pic. During the Indianapolis gig, they were wearing red:
