MSG best sound?

Let's wrap it up, which release has the greatest MSG sound in your opinion?
This about sound and not show content, that's why you can choose for either the AS or ES.
I hope I covered them all.
I have a remastered import version which is the best but I think nobody has it so I'll leave it out.

Operation Big Apple CD 1 (afternoon) + Japanese 24 bit Papersleeve (evening) as previously advised.

Prince from another Planet ES

Without question...

I think Anesini's remaster of the evening show trumps the Papersleeve personally.

Would anyone responding to this poll also be kind enough to state what equipment they are using and in particular whether they are doing comparisons using headphones? Would be interesting to know and might even help to explain our different conclusions.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your advice Matthew. I don't happen to have this one to compare currently, but on the basis of your recommendation I will consider purchasing it to compare.

Vic Anesini, and Venus

The new mixes on PFAP are superior to anything released before. There are lightyears between this and the number 2: the original mix remastered for TCM.

It definitely has the best sound to these ears, too. I listened to both shows again early this morning.

I'll more than likely never listen to any other versions again.

That's exactly how I feel. It was like hearing these shows for the first time again.

No doubt. Prince edition is the best sound ever.

Taking a step back look at how many options we have! I go for the new releases and then the TCM version. I dint think the selections are down to headphones either.

Sorry guys I forgot to add an afternoon at the Garden!
We have so many MSG releases I totally overlooked this significant 1997 release.

It's now added so it's voting time again!
