Earliest Surviving Hitchcock film gets web premiere

Fri Nov 16, 2012 5:53 pm

I know that there are a number of silent film buffs on here, so thought it was worth posting that a rediscovered Hitchcock film from 1923 is being streamed live on the web for the next two months. The film, which he co-wrote, co-edited and co-directed was thought lost until around 40 minutes was found a year or two ago. This is not only of interest as a hItchcock film (or at least one he participated in), but alos because so few British films are available to us from this period. Not seen it yet, but plan to in the next couple of days.
