When Al sent that message on Facebook, I thought it was maybe a publicity stunt, particularly as the dates were already booked. That's seeming less likely now, as I don't think that Mike Love would be prepared to look like such an ass for the sake of publicity. Rocker has a point though - Love has not ruled out working with them again.

For their next to last concert the Beach Boys pulled out the **** yesterday at Royal Albert Hall! Not only did they play every song they did on the reunion tour (incl. Our Prayer!), they also added a new show closer. "Summer's gone" from the new album!!

Not had much time lately to catch up on music due to personal problems, but today I bought 5 of the new Remastered albums, and so far they are superb with the new mixes and such, however I'm not that excited about the digipack look. The Beatles remasters was put together very nice compared with these, but in the end it is the music and not the style you look at anyways.
I'll have to check out that Wembley show you linked bud.
Brian and I will be performing with the KLOS All Star Band and The Doobie Brothers at the 95.5 KLOS Christmas Show, Dec 13th, in Los Angeles...more info below:

The Beach Boys' The SMiLE Sessions (Deluxe Box Set) was just nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Historical Album!
Thank you Alan Boyd, Mark Linett, Brian Wilson & Dennis Wolfe (compilation producers), Mark Linett (mastering engineer) and Capitol Records...now that's something to SMiLE about!
