Try designing your own - there are plenty of photo images available to use. Don't rely on others who spend hours and hours to do things for themselves so that you can just make a copy. Yours will then be unique to you and you can feel proud of them.

I think the OP has already identified he cannot download from this site. I don't think NightRider wants to make them available for general use.

Well I created this set when I noticed I didn't like how the cds looked in the CM box, but then I decided I didn't like the ones I created lol, so I did a test cover earlier to see what I can do. This is what I came up with

Old created cover.

New test cover

I'm not sure if I want to go and create it all over again because it took me ages 1st time round.

The bottom one looks great - I'm working on a set myself. You get far more satisfaction when you achieve something yourself than just getting it given to you on a plate. Finding decent "non live" shots for the later years is the biggest challenge, if virtually impossible.

I agree, it is more pleasing when you make ur own knowing that you are using the ones you personally did, but I also had a lot of problems in the later volumes finding none live shots, so I had to go with live shots from that yr.

Might have better luck 2nd time round if I continue with it lol.

Put yourself in his shoes. He is running a design business and probably does not have time to answer individual emails requesting copies of his work. Once he gives the artwork to one person, it will open the door for requests from everyone.

Well I have completed CD 1-15 which I somehow enjoyed doing since I didn't really want to do them again lol.

I'll sort them out later to make sure no mistakes, and if not then I will upload the 1st 15 for anyone who would like them. Did some fixing on them which I didn't like, but I want to look at them again to see they need sorting some more.

NightRider has done a very, very good job. In fact, it is better than most official Sony/FTD artwork.

Hey Emjel, thanks for the condescending mini-lectures. You sure sound like one self-righteous, sanctimonious cat. Naturally anyone can choose not to share their own cover art, but you don't have to talk down to grown adults just because they're asking if others might like to share. Someone requesting doesn't make them some kind of freeloader as your responses imply.

I thought one of the very purposes of this section was for people to share their work for others' use, which many people actually take genuine joy in. It's called bigness of spirit. Personally I would like to think many people would enjoy their work being appreciated by others in active use. I made several covers recently and posted them under All Elvis and offered to share full res if anyone wanted them.

Besides which, not everyone has the ability, tools, or time to create 30 CD covers, did that ever occur to you? No one owes them anything because of that, but jeez, maybe you could cool it with the holier than thou bit. Or if you really want to come across as the moral authority, you could cite the fact that all this alternate cover art is being done with unauthorized use of copywritten photos and other images. Personally I loathe people playing the martinet, but if you want to go the whole way with it, be my guest I guess.

To each his own, but cheese and crackers, you seem to have a boatload of attitude. Just relax, dude. Of all the trivial things to take a moral stand on in this crazy world, this kind of takes the cake.

Good for you Brian. Take a house point. I know many fans who have spent hours designing covers they made for themselves and put them on a network site feeling proud of what they had achieved only to find others had nicked their ideas and even their work.

But good to anyone who wants to offer their work to anyone else for free - It's their choice. I have designed covers and even labels for CDs for my close Elvis friends who do not have the facility to create these things.

But before you give me another lesson in the art of being a good person, someone actually took one of my real photographs of a landscape scene I had taken, doctored it slightly and then made out it was their work and even had the nerve to enter it into a competition to win a prize. Have a good day.

That's unfortunate someone stole your work. But I don't see the point of letting that create a chip on your shoulder about people asking permission to use someone's artwork for their own private use, especially regarding a hobby and passsion we all share. Those are two very different things.

As far as people appropriating other people's work online, that is to be expected as a possibility to some degree. Obviously it's lousy for someone to claim your work is their own, especially if it is part of your profession, or they are making money on it. But if it bothers you that much, the only choice is not to post anything online. That's just the world we live in. And seriously, in most cases, as crimes against humanity goes, it's still somewhere down there in the bottom 1% if you have a balanced persepective.

And again, all this alternate cover art is using copywritten photograpy and other elements, like RCA logos, without permission. So glass houses my friend.
