Hi everyone :smt006

My name's Andy and I'm a British fan. Been an Elvis fan all of my life. It's great I found this forum, and I can't wait to start chatting with fellow Elvis fans from all over the world.

All the best, and keep rockin'

Andy.

Hi tcb4. I haven't had time to view the forums today. I've been hard preparing for a job interview tomorrow. I can't let this one pass me by, it's the job of a lifetime and I need to get out of the dead end jobs I've had to do for the past few years

I had the interview, was a bit nervous but I'm confident. Fingers crossed and all that. They said they'll let me know in the next 48 hours.

I'm in Waste Management. I'm currently in local authority as a community recycling officer. The job I've gone for is a community reuse projects manager of a reuse centre for household appliances and furniture. This diverts good second hand items from the waste stream and provides affordable appliances and furniture to people on low incomes and on poverty threshold. Not only benefitting the environment, but helping people in need to improve their quality of life. :smt023

Welcome, Andy. It sounds like a rewarding position: you get to help people, and that's always cool. Hope it works out!

rjm (In 1998, while on vacation in CT, I went to a live-in-person recycling center, and they had a collection of National Geographics going back . . . WAY back, and I came home with a bunch of 'em. Incredible retro-advertising! They are in a garage right now, but I've done some scanning over the years!)
