I honestly can't remember the last cd i bought. I've gotten in the habit of just listening to music on the web. I don't actually download to a device, I just listen. I'm still one of those that can just sit and listen to music as an activity within itself, and anything can be found on the web, so I just haven't had the urge to buy in some time.

Another previously out of print Jerry Jeff release from Australian label Raven. Two great albums of loose Texas country music.

And Queen drummer Roger Taylor's first solo album since 1998.It's pretty good although only Queen nuts like me will buy it.

Great album, bought it when it first came out and it still gets a spin.

I've caught him live a couple of times when he's played over here and I'd see him again anytime. One of my favourite artists of all time.

One of my favorites as well , and you can hear the Elvis influence in his songs. Raul Malo (The Mavericks also). Both these artists have fine Christmas albums as well.

Grace Potter & the Nocturnals
Merle Haggard " From the King to the Barrooms"
Katie Melua Collection ( incl DVD)

I have a hunch that there aren't too many Beck fans here but his new album, Morning Phase, is extraordinary. Amazingly beautiful and atmospheric. An excellent companion piece to his other masterpiece, Sea Change.

Lena Horne's "A New Album" from 1976. Some of her best work is on this album. Well worth obtaining. Love her jazzy version of "My Funny Valentine" Music conducted by Michel Legrand

Brilliant Southern Rock from a band I didn't know of until I got Classic Rock magazines Country spinoff. It was originally released in the USA back in Aug 2012 but has been given a 2014 UK release.Wish I had known about them before they played in Glasgow recently.
