You have done absolutely nothing to warrant a ban.

In fact, I, as well as many others consider you to be a valuable member of this forum.

This forum is far from being run by bullies.

When reports are made, and there are clear guideline violations,I assure you that action is taken.

However, taking actions when no such guidelines are broken is just as bad (in my view), as ignoring clear guideline violations.

If a member makes a report, and it doesn't appear that anything is done by the moderation team, it can mean one of two things:

1.) The moderation team has not yet had a chance to see the report.
Or
2.) The moderation team has viewed the report, but has deemed that no violation has occurred.

Sorry to hear good people like Delboy and Mountain Misst leaving. Surely the trend must be recognised and addressed. I understand Mountain Misst's comments about the bullying which has continued for many years.
I visit and contribute much less regularly these days.

What I do is to "pick my battles." I don't get involved if I don't think it's worth it. I take the good, leave the rest. And hope they don't take the very best.

As for others, well I go by the guidelines: if someone else is attacked, that person must push the button. But if I felt strongly, I might say "you may not like the postings of a certain poster, but it is generally inappropriate to tell them to leave ("you are getting on my nerves")." That was the thing said by MTRA to D--. I understand getting frustrated by odd or eccentric postings, but it's their right to wear any shade of glasses they choose, including "rose." I just think MTRA should "foe" the person wearing the glasses. But that's between them. And vice-versa.

But an eccentric poster (not Misty) has to defend themselves by the rules. I know it's hard for a sensitive person life Misty who wants to help and protect EVERYONE. A lovely, gentle sweet person who doesn't want anyone to ever get hurt.

But sometimes, you have to just give advice in private if you are concerned about someone, and then let them choose how to handle it. For some, like our Misty, that is difficult.

But it's the only way to navigate these waters. It's a learning experience.
