Why Me, Lord?
That’s a good question. It will be you if you know the date and the location. Please answer only if you want a free, original CD.

That’s great, Renan. Just PM me your name and address, and the CD’ll be on its way first thing tomorrow.
For the rest of you, WHY ME, LORD? is the title of the CD.

Now I get it.
The answer by Renan is wrong.
The correct answer is May 26, 1977, Binghamton, NY.

Renan’s answer is correct. He just forgot a comma there, but that’s okay. It’s not a grammar competition.

Take another look.
It's not the comma that's wrong.
Fri Jul 29, 2005 12:45 am
you mean BinghamPton??

Please enlighten me, before I start questioning my sanity (as if I shouldn’t have done that ages ago).

Renan
Exactly. Congratulations. It was almost right.
Ken
That still doesn't make it right.

Well, Torben, it’s not a spelling competition either. Renan clearly knew the answer, and that’s good enough for me. However, check out Free CD #4, just for you, if you’re up for it.

I accept that of course.
I wasn't serious, just teasing you and Renan a bit.

And it's wrong, too, not that my EOT cohort Renan should be blamed for it.
It is "Binghamton, New York":

Thanks for the info, Torben and Greg. I didn’t realize that it’s Binghamton (without a p). That’s the thing with names. It’s impossible to know if you’re not local.
