Record attempt to get Elvis impersonators together

There is a record attempt to get over 100 elvis impersonators performing at one venue in Selfridges, Oxford Street on April 17th.

It will be in a form of a talent show. There will be loads of prizes including the chance to perform at a major Las Vegas casino.

This is true. So, the thing you do is, right before you throw them over the side, you poke 'em a couple of times with a sharp stick and get a little blood flowing. That way, by the time the hit the bottom (and the sharks are done with them), there's nothing left but a cheap-ass XXXL polyester suit, two pleather boots, plastic sunglasses and a wig made out of rat hair.

i've been told personally that when i sing Elvis, they are confused if i'm lip synching or doing the whole thing. i'm getting singing training from a lady who heard me at a talent quest when i sang danny boy, and she said shes been training singers for 20 years, but had never heard a singer my age (14)with such a powerful voice as me. i do it with respect ladies and gentlemen, and so does paul toronto, and a few others, so keep them here to keep the spirit alive, becoz some of these impersonators do a good job

yes dear... but you are still a child.....not a 30stone..sorry USA you`ll have to do your own weight conversion.....who neither sounds like or looks anything like the original....tribute artists I dont mind.. but the rest...ohhhhhhhhhhhh if I had three wishes.....I`d only use one..lol

People have said that with the wig [complete with mutton-chop sideburns] the white jumpsuit, shades and all, I bear quite a striking resemblance to you-know-who.

And when they hear me sing, well, the picture is complete.

So don't be so hasty in your condemnation.
