Favorite Bowie Concert or Album
I always find myself floating back and forth between Elvis and David Bowie. Currently listening to Bowie from 1995, and his live concerts. What are your favorite bowie albums or concerts?

Re: Favorite Bowie Concert or Album
I could single out a few, but I probably listen to Let's Dance more than any other David Bowie album. The first four tracks are just marvellous, but the entire album stands up really well, in my opinion. There's riches aplenty in his marvellous career.

i agree with greystoke. Let's Dance was his best album and one of the concerts from that "serious moonlight" tour live in Montreal,Canada is my favourite show. This deserves an official release,

Re: Favorite Bowie Concert or Album
Definately Lets Dance for me as well.
Only one track on it that I dont like (Ricochet) the rest is great.
Another thing is that the album version of the title track is a little too long imo

With regards to live performances, Bowie at Glastonbury in 2000 was pretty special. It's certainly one of my favourite Glastonbury performances ever.

Re: Favorite Bowie Concert or Album
Memory Of A Free Festival, from one of his early albums, was written about an event that took place in the park on the road I grew up in. Used to play football and tennis there with my mates all the time.
The bandstand is still there and was restored not too long ago.
Until I moved away from the area a couple of years ago, I was never far from a Bowie spot. Even lived in some flats for a short time a couple of minutes walk from where Haddon Hall (his home up until the early 70s) once stood. I love that Bowie went from there to see Elvis at MSG.
