I remember seeing it in one of those Memorial Mags that were published right after his demise. Haven't seen it in a long time though, thanks for posting.

Cool!

Looks like it was pretty windy out there.

Thanks, The fool. Well, that plane does not appear to be the Lisa Marie. It's smaller. Judging by what little the photo shows us, my guess is it dates to early-to-mid 1975.

The car is a Mercedes Benz limousine. I know Elvis bought a lot of Mercedes in December 1970 but this one is indeed like a limousine made for presidents. When Nixon visited Romania he had a Mercedes like this.

This is the first time I actually notice actor and Elvis' Limo driver Sir Gerald Peters (shame on me :) ).

An alternate picture from this occasion can be found in this thread:

You know, that version of "Dixie" and uh, the "Battle Hymn of the Republic," it's so beautiful!
The band he's put together is so over-the-top, and only Elvis would have that kinda spending power, and just audacious craziness. Choirs, and orchestras, and a great rhythm section, maybe another gospel group on the side. None of it makes sense until you suddenly hear something like that, and they're all playing a role in that, and it's very moving music. That's the pure joy of music in the man. You know, that's when I see everything stop.

It's so much nice to see him travelling in a nicer car rather than some of the awful cars / station wagons he seemed to end up travelling in later on!

The Mercedes 600 Pullman is likely Elvis' personal one, they were not common limousines. So doesn't that suggest Memphis airport? And yes, the plane is not the Lisa Marie, so returning from Vegas or the April 75 tour? Can't have been summer... Just thinking aloud.

From the Moody Blue FTD booklet: although Elvis is wearing a different jacket, the plain seems very similar, as do the sideburns. Perhaps the same time period?
