Found this photo on: http://www.picrail.com/misc/OldSchoolCool

It reads:
My Great Grandmother, Grandmother, and Elvis Presley - Late 1950s
I guess it's from 1957. Haven't seen it before. Have you?

How did your great-grandmother know Elvis Presley?

[–]TheMavic 2 points 14 hours ago*
I don't know too much about it since I have always been disconnected from my father's side of the family, but my father said it was taken in Riverside, California when Elvis was making a guest appearance for some event to which he can't remember the name of.

EDIT: Ok so I got some info mixed up. The little girl in the photo is actually my father's cousin. Turns out my great grandmother was a friend of the Presley family and this photo was taken at Graceland, not California.

That's a great picture. Elvis looks so young and handsome. You can see that he's got what it takes.

No doubt. I'd really like to have the photo professionally restored and colorized but I have no idea where to begin. It's been sitting on top of our photo cabinet since before I was born.

My guess is the photo was taken in Memphis, circa September 1957. Elvis may actually be out and about, at a movie or the like.
