A pre-design for his famous TCB sunglasses?
Is there any information about that central detail? :?

These shades are way cooler than what was to come.

These shades look so cool... and they're from the 1950s! They have the letters "E P" on the bridge - that's the central detail on them. See more pictures of Elvis wearing them at Starnberger See in my new book, "An Army Trilogy Vol. II", which will be out shortly. :)

The central detail consists of the letters "E P". Elvis wore the same style sunglasses back in 1959 when he went cruising on Lake Starnberg with Vera Tschechowa. Some really cool photos of Elvis wearing those shades can be found in my upcoming book "An Army Trilogy Vol. II".
