Seattle World's Fair - 1962

From "The Bellingham Herald" website :

Linda Alexander of Blaine bumped into Elvis Presley at the Seattle World’s Fair and had him autograph her blood donation card. It’s a moment she still treasures.

More from the same website :

Barry Paluch’s mother was thrilled when she ran into Elvis Presley at the Seattle World’s Fair. She had Elvis sign the first thing she found in her purse; the envelope for her son’s naturalization paper.

Glad you liked this, Doc.

It's impressive how people, who maybe are not even Elvis fans, still keep those 50+ year old treasures.

Thanks, Mister Moon. Elvis looks really great, too bad he didn't perform a concert at the World's Fair, it could be sensational. But the Colonel turned the offer down.

Thanks a lot for posting that. To me it's my number one photo of Elvis-Elvis dancin' to the Jailhouse Rock. I love what Peter Guralnick wrote in "Last Train to Memphis" that Elvis one night stopped the car after returning from Hollywood studios and sang and danced on the Jailhouse Rock song. To me it was the best casual moment of Elvis ever, free and not constrained by any camera.
