Philly '74

Found another box. Well found is not correct as my wife me told she had but in a container in the basement for safekeeping-what a thoughtful spouse. Only been looking for 20 years. Still missing my 10 best. Still New Year off to a great start.

It looks like it was taken almost from the same spot as the ones by Phil Gelormine... :)

Here are a few more...these were all taken by Mr John Herman- the color shot shows the type access John had. The color shot has been previously seen.

All are in low resolution.

Man, it's been almost 40 years since this was taken! It's clear there was still quite a bit of excitement surrounding a Presley show in 1974, and the singer still looked pretty dynamic. Thank you for sharing the memories.

It makes a good wallpaper for your computer, too.

When that photo was taken I was one excited 12 year-old kid. I couldn't wait for three nights later when I would get to feast my eyes on Elvis Presley for the first time. When he took the stage and stood right in front of me with those lights shimmering off of him, it was a feeling that I haven't felt before or since.

I have literally seen over 100 live concerts in my life from various acts. NONE of them compares to the feeling I had from the tenth row on June 26, 1974.

NONE.

Kenny- you could very well be correct- I have Herman's Dayton shots also and they could have gotten mixed in the scanning process. Note the glasses are on in the last shot- not in the previous.

I removed it to keep the thread about Philly only.
Thanks
