Complete, detailed information was part of a topic I made on FECC about two months ago. I'm sorry you did not see it, as then you would have already known all about this photo. Below is part of that topic, and a larger version of the group portrait.

I was stationed at Ayers Kaserne Kirschgoens and Presley was at Friedberg, my cousin Lavaughn Moody was in the Artillery at Friedberg and saw Presley on many occasions. His Mom had died and he brought his Grandmother and Dad to Germany they did rent a large house in Bad Nauheim he had to stay in the barracks during our many alerts. I remember one incident that involved young teen age girls from Sweden or Norway who had come to Germany to see Presley, they threw a rock at his home and he came outside and talked to them there was a write up in The Stars and Stripes. During Wintershield I was a squad leader and we picked up Presley's LT. in our M59 PC Presley was "road guarding and directing traffic like a lot of other guys, it was cold and snowing but, he soldiered like everyone else. I'm sure he received some privileges but, he refused a commission and soft duty in Special Services like Eddy Fisher and other celebs did. I respect him for that.

One of many "super-sized" exhibit photos (11"x14" & larger).
Elvis is shown above as a recently promoted Sp4 on dismount training, and, yes, the M-1 rifle was still in use.
