First seen in Shaver's The Life of Elvis Presley (1979). For years I thought those photos were from San Francisco a month later.

Here's one additional photo, in which nobody seems to be enjoying themselves. In fact, Elvis looks as if he just found out about David and Linda...But why is he throwing a scarf at him? :)

The first book on Elvis that I ever bought myself (My brother had got me, The boy who dared to Rock for my birthday or Christmas in '78), while I was in basic training, and getting into a bit of trouble being late for inspection outside our barrak's due to my being at the post office ordering it, and year's later while I was working in Whistler (I had a trailer), I was working with my sister and brother-in law at Anderson Lake (no it wasn't named after me!), and my friend came by my trailer and took it while I was away!!!!! Well I told that story on TCB-WORLD a few year's ago, and Virginia Coon's daughter read it, and thought so much of what I said, that she decided to give me her Mother's, The life of Elvis Presley book, which I'm so grateful for!!!!! 8) :D
