It's actually Bear Park in Gladewater, TX.

The image was probably lifted from this great website:

Scotty Moore - Bear Park, Gladewater, TX

Thanks, I knew that it had to be a fairly well known pic! 8) I actually had pictures that I got from my newspapers "lifted" (Elvis in Vancouver at Empire Stadium) and they were used on that great site, but it doesn't bother me, although you like to be recognized for being the person who found and/or first posted them. I'm pretty sure ( :?: ) they used some of the pics I originally posted, and so did the Australian site. 8)

Ian if I used a picture from you I should have credited you and likely would have had I known it was from you. Sometimes though, especially from papers, the pictures make the rounds and its difficult to determine the original source. In the case of newspapers I tend to at least credit the publication. In any case, which do you believe are yours so I can amend the credits, and how would you like your name to read FECC/Ian or fullname?

Several of the photos on that page came from a post by Little Darlin in this thread http://elvis-collectors.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=32681&p=410474&hilit=l09675rftr0.jpg#p410474 and I believe they were from an online article by John Corrie in The Province commemorating the anniversary of the concert.

PS. the Gladewater picture posted I don't believe to be from my page. Its tinted and a tighter crop than the b/w one I have from Steve Bonner. But thanks for posting the link anyway doc, its always good to have the backstory.
