Looks like snow in the back round. Can you read the sign in the back round?

I noticed he is wearing the same like on the night before the wedding so presuming its from the similar time...

could it be Vail, Colorado. I think i remember reading somewhere he went there with Cilla after the baby and leaving Lisa with the Beaulieu's. In that case it must be winter 68.

Wibi08, the small photo you posted (30.04.67) is at the 'Ladera Circle' home after the wedding. That would date it between 1-3 May, '67.

I think Palm Springs is high up in the hills but whether they get snow in May...?

Sure looks like Flagstaff, Arizona to me, It's a stop I always make to or from Vegas.

Since Elvis was in Palm Springs, chances are they drove one hour to Idlyllwild (the shooting location of Kid Galahad). There is often snow in the mountains above Palm Springs during that time of year.
