Nice candid of Elvis with fans at Graceland

Got this one from ebay not sure of the date, but new to me.

my first guess, this could be 1960/61, around "flaming star".

no its definitely from his army days in germany...even around his paris-stay....

so i would say around 1959....but definitely not in 1960..

i even saw this in ones of his army books...but it seems colourized here.....and therefore (cause his hair looks black in this version) mistakenly put into 60 `s ( in germany he did not dye his hair)

it looks very good colourized...but its not a real colour one...

thats why you think its from flaming star period

besides...his hair style while "flaming star " is a bit different....so ...its from 1959

My guess is that the photo is from around July 1960 and the is NO doubt at all that the photo is from Graceland.
There are four photos from this autograph-session and in one we see Elvis wearing the same leather wristband as he did when he was boating on McKellar Lake on July 8, 1960. See http://www.brian56.dk/600708.html

Elvis wears the same "jumpsuit" as in the photo below posted earlier by rizzy56.

His hair also looks like it did when he went to Las Vegas later in July 1960.

IIRC, the image is found in one of davide's FTD books published this year, with the date and location as bripet56 describes.

ok. i am convinced with all this postings and the book i was refferring to was wrong too

it seems that for one time elvis let a whole lot of people inside the gates...cause its looks like a little party INSIDE his mansion
