It's often asked in this forum for the song that sings Elvis in the picture of the cover front
TTWII LP soundtrack.
All my life I wanted to know about that song and today at the afternoon I sit to check frame by frame in
“TTWII Outtakes-DVD” to find it. At last I knew…..is
Aug 11, 1970, DS, and the song is
“SUSPICIOUS MINDS”.The exact moment is 1 minute and 13 seconds after begin the song and just before of “Why can´t you see / What you´re doing to me…..”.
In
“TTWII-Special Edition” DVD you´ll find this exact moment in
1:24:15 seconds.
Check the video on 2:19 seconds ---->
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTYg2Q-vDJ0&feature=fvwPhoto 1 I found it in Internet.
Photos 2 are taken of “TTWII unreleased Out-takes” from my TV screen.
Photos 3 are taken of “TTWII-Special Edition” DVD from my TV screen too.

Very very good work!
New projects for you now:
Find the exact moment the covers of the following were shot:
68 NBC TV SPECIAL
ELVIS IN PERSON 1969
FROM ELVIS IN MEMPHIS
The 69 one is almost certainly One Night being sung.

By the way, I think we are both right!
That first picture looks like the one I posted earlier, I coped it from my dvd, and added the TTWII cover.
I really think that is mine, because I cropped out the Pro of Turner at the bottom.

Javier -- and Lonnie -- this is really a neat piece of information.
But can anyone identify what song Elvis is doing on the cover of "Aloha From Hawaii Via Satellite"? It's from the April 1972 tour, IIRC.
Mon Aug 24, 2009 10:47 am
My guess for the Aloha cover would be PROUD MARY.
Mon Aug 24, 2009 11:12 am
Maybe. From what show?
Mon Aug 24, 2009 1:09 pm
It's definitely "Proud Mary."
San Antonio?

Nope.
His hairstyle in
San Antonio is very different. But it is definitely the April tour, maybe
Detroit (april 6th),
Roanoke (april 11th) or
Macon afternoon show (april 15th).

I always understood the photo was taken in Roanoke on 11th April.
Here's another photo from the same date, courtesy of Fransesc, and his hair is very similar. Fransesc's site dates the Aloha cover photo as Macon on the 15th, but I don't believe this to be correct.

I think so!
The band platform makes the difference and his hairstyle.
