Dear friends....

This week's Graceland exclusive features the American Eagle Jumpsuit worn during the "Aloha From Hawaii" Concert in 1973.

Hey, the design is pretty close, and 1974 is only a year off.

WRONG!

The first time it was worn was in Chicago. Why do we know this and they don't?

It's EPE. They don't know s$&t. Potato heads they kick a$s on. Elvis facts, not so much.

You know why they don't know this and we do???
Because they are only in the Elvis business for the $$$$$$ and we're true fans.
That's why i refuse to go to Graceland.

It's hard to believe this error got past Angie Marchese, assuming she was in the loop.

Years pass, and things change. After Elvis died, Vernon ran Graceland. When Vernon died (and his mother and sister still lived in the house), bankers and lawyers assumed control. Elvis' grandmother is said to have considered calling a press conference to complain about the situation (this, according to maid, Nancy Rooks).

In the early years of the modern-era EPE, employees like Patsy Andersen and Todd Morgan weren't just hired guns. They were fans like us. They are gone, now, and mistakes that would have been easily corrected in the past will slp through the cracks. The sad reality is that it really only matters to the few thousand of us that know enough to care.

That's really a shame, not because we know the history and they don't but because out of the legions of people that come to Graceland and gloss over the facts there's probably a segment of that crowd that wants to dive in and do their homework. Of course you would think going to Graceland would be ground-zero for this information and unfortunately it seems that it isn't. Since Elvis is an historical figure, you'd think somebody on team Graceland would be assigned the title of 'fact-checker'. It's just common sense. After all, Graceland is on the National Register of Historic Places. WTF, for real!!!

Maybe someone from FECC should apply for the "fact checker" job. I'm sure they'd hire one of us!

We all make mistakes, but that is pretty poor.

I saw this too when I got my insider email. It is mind-boggling that they would make such an error. How many clueless people are now working within EPE? :smt075

OK, I feel better now :?

EPE is more concerned with selling his chinese bullshit in his shops.

Watch the official website! This is a bunch of crap.

This does not happen to our belt.
That EPE make mistakes like that, I'm not surprised. There will be more !

Those people are completely outside of reality.

Maybe we will in 2017 (40 years) a box dvd "ElvisInConcert"
