1976 Rainfall Jumpsuit

Came across this one some time back, new to me anyhow i removed the watermarks off it.

Ken Davidoff photos were from '77. Columbia, IIRC, but surely from the first tour of '77.

For some reason I have always liked this jumpsuit. It is not as over-the-top as some of the others. The multi-colored stones are nice. My only regret about this jumpsuit is that I don't think it really flattered Elvis. IMHO, it is difficult to find a picture where he looks good in it.

It looks better in person. It is on display at Graceland. The blue colored stones tend to wash out in photographs. And, Elvis looked unwell every time he wore the outfit.

I agree. This suit looks much better without Elvis in it. I don't mean that as a slam on Elvis, but it does look better on display.
