WOW. Great pictures, what a hunk of a man Elvis was. Two things that instantly stand out. Firstly, that has got to be the last time he was that tanned! Also, I thought the last time he wore that belt was in the summer of 1972. Amazing to see him wearing it in the later summer of 1973 because to be frank, I didn't think it would still fit him.

They would have been great if they weren't double exposed. Just messaged the seller to see if they were like that on the original photos or made that way to deter people taking them and she said they were like that on the originals......what a waste!

Thanks for pointing these out! Great to see and to confirm Elvis did speak with the Jones audience. I suspect he might be discussing Karate in the last shot:

Either the concert was haunted or Tom Jones has an identical twin. Now that would've been something to see. All of the pictures posted of Elvis and Tom Jones are new to me, these are great!

This may be the last time period in which he wore the International Gold "Attendance Award" Belt, too.

And I heard and read that Elvis hid the award belt under his socks and underwear drawer(found after his death), because he knew his "friends,family" were stealing from him.

As usual, always nice to see more photos from these rare occasions when Elvis was photographed during someone else's show, especially knowing the strict "photography not allowed" rule in Vegas.

The photo on the left, the black and white one where he's shaking Tom's hand, Elvis doesn't even look like himself... he looks like someone from India or maybe a Spanish person...the nose doesn't look right to me.... in other words it looks more like an ETA than Elvis himself....I'm not saying that it IS an ETA I'm saying it LOOKS more like one....

Perhaps Elvis wore the belt to remind Tom that he alone ruled Vegas.
