I believe it is the canteen at Pontins Holiday Camp, Hemsby, Norfolk England. From memory it would have been 1983.

Is that supposed to be "funny"?

What a rude comment.

Charlie was a nice guy, and it is no fun to dirt talk him now, Charlie was one of very few true friends to Elvis.

uhhh...not any ruder than some of your best "criticisms." Why is Charlie off limits while Elvis in '77 is always "ripe for the pickins"??

Because it's not cool to like Elvis in the 70's, and we have to be seen as being cool here.

Not on June 25th '77 he wasn't!

Re: Charlie Hodge

then he was ill . A person who is ill can't be seen as cool you know. But Elvis was an incredible star and an remarkable human being trough the 50's , 60's and seventies

riley, the reason Presley wasn't cool on June 25th '77 was because his airconditioner clapped out

I never did meet Charlie , but I wish I did.

From what I have heard and read , he was a super nice guy who was a great friend to Elvis.
