I believe it is the canteen at Pontins Holiday Camp, Hemsby, Norfolk England. From memory it would have been 1983.

I agree, it does look like Hemsby's 'orrid old canteen! I cut Charlie's hair that year ...................... he didn't give me $5 !!!

Charlie was a nice guy, and it is no fun to dirt talk him now, Charlie was one of very few true friends to Elvis.

makes me a feel a bit sad for charlie.from meeting elvis in the army and then working for elvis..all the concerts etc...living at gracelands..elvis was hes life for so long..and now hes sat there in a cafe..just him and hes breaky like any normal person with elvis for hes memories.reality picture after elvis...

I never did meet Charlie , but I wish I did.
From what I have heard and read , he was a super nice guy who was a great friend to Elvis.
