Ray Walker from 'The Jordanaires' is on the left (The elusive Bass player can be seen in the background.)
Ray Walker recalls : He(Elvis) was a little apprehensive. He was a little fearful that the public had forgotten him or that somebody else had taken his place in their minds. So he was apprehensive when he came out of the army,he wasn't hot and ready to take on the world. He wasn't hyper at all.The first thing we did was the Frank Sinatra television show in Miami and that was fun.Elvis was nervous but Frank liked him,and they got along well.Elvis got along well with everybody.***
Executive producer Sammy Cahn can be seen in the image below on the right of frame.

Joe Esposito :On his final visit to Paris in January 1960 I had made all the arrangements and he was impressed with my work that when we were both discharged from the services I was put to work. I became Elvis’ right hand man. The first thing we did,we went to do the Frank Sinatra TV special on Miami Beach,so it was very nervous and exciting.I mean,Elvis was very nervous,as you can tell. When he first walked out you could see he was nervous..I was so excited for me,because this was first big..We had a great time.He loved doing it,and you know because at one time Frank said some bad things about him.****

Mae Axton was invited by Elvis and the Colonel to visit Miami for the taping of the TV special:
"Elvis was excited about being there, but he was almost in awe of Sinatra - and Sinatra was almost in awe of him. They just got along great. Elvis had gooey stuff in his hair, and it was poofed up real big.It was all big and shiny. Rehearsal was actually the fun part. They cut up a lot and did silly things. Too bad they didn't put the rehearsal on TV- outtakes , you know"

Mae Axton:
The Colonel had given people tickets on the condition they would really scream and yell' cause I think he was fearful that folks wouldn't really remember Elvis that well. But he needn't have bothered, when Elvis walked out,the whole place went wild!"
