Re: Elvis LIVE in West Virginia
In '77, tickets were priced at 12.50 & 15, so prices did increase over the years..
Re: Elvis LIVE in West Virginia
My meaning was...that even the 5 dollar seats were YES a good price in the 70's,but you could rest asure that they would either be behind the stage or up to the roof(hence nose bleed) so far up that ...well you see what i meant,Monique wrote:Meaning...?Elton wrote:Ah, the nose bleed sections,I remember all to well..Monique wrote:What could one do with $5,00 or $7,50 back then? but on the other hand it was a cheep price to pay, to just say you were in the same building with the king of rock n' roll!!
and if you were late getting up coming concert dates, you could expext those five dollar ...to be fa,far away.

The picture is from Sterns "Elvis World" book, where it's captioned as Nov. 13th 1970, which, obviously, it is not. (Don't I see a cape there...?)Francesc wrote:What date is that Elton?

Ahhh...okay I see what you mean. Indeed no good seats for $5. But I would pay a lot more today for that same seat.Elton wrote:My meaning was...that even the 5 dollar seats were YES a good price in the 70's,but you could rest asure that they would either be behind the stage or up to the roof(hence nose bleed) so far up that ...well you see what i meant,Monique wrote:Meaning...?Elton wrote:Ah, the nose bleed sections,I remember all to well..Monique wrote:What could one do with $5,00 or $7,50 back then? When I was a child I was a dreamer,
I read comic books and I was the hero of the comic book
And I saw movies and I was the hero in the movie
So every dream I´ve ever dreamed has come true a hundred times.
