What could one do with $5,00 or $7,50 back then? I guess you could buy a record with that amount of money. Today a concert costs so much more than the price for one cd... Or maybe back then you could buy 10 breads for the price of a concertticket. Today you can buy at least 50 breads for the price of one ticket.
Ah, the nose bleed sections,I remember all to well..
Meaning...?

In '77, tickets were priced at 12.50 & 15, so prices did increase over the years..

My meaning was...that even the 5 dollar seats were YES a good price in the 70's,but you could rest asure that they would either be behind the stage or up to the roof(hence nose bleed) so far up that ...well you see what i meant,
but on the other hand it was a cheep price to pay, to just say you were in the same building with the king of rock n' roll!!

and if you were late getting up coming concert dates, you could expext those five dollar ...to be fa,far away.

The picture is from Sterns "Elvis World" book, where it's captioned as Nov. 13th 1970, which, obviously, it is not. (Don't I see a cape there...?)

Ahhh...okay I see what you mean. Indeed no good seats for $5. But I would pay a lot more today for that same seat.

Cool Scott, great to see a couple of photos from some of the shows where we had nothing before.
