As for which one of the Black Broquade suits Elvis wears in the Las vegas photo above there is no doubt it is the one with Unicorns and Flowers.
Just take a look at these two segments and I think you will all agree with both Ben and me.

Brian - do you have a close up of the gold design to compare to?

I can't get my head around how the red unicorns would look silver on the black and white photo. Also, the border looks different.

Sorry DarrylMac, I don't have any clear photos of the other suit. Seems we need someone to go to Graceland!!

We've had discussions on other threads over how the light can turn dark colours lighter and light coulours darker in the same photo so I wouldn't worry too much about the red unicorns being silver-coloured in this one.

If you study the photos I think it should be clear without any doubt that they show the same pattern in both segments. You can easily "see" the shape of the unicorn as well as the white flowers in both pics.

The pattern on the other suit is totally different and it would be impossible to come up with a proper match.

Or maybe there was a third suit

Brian,

If you look at the black and white close up you've posted, you can see my dilema. Underneath the silver looking unicorns, there are 3 silver shapes. That appear to be the 3 butterflies, which you can see on the 3 red flowers on the colour photo. Now, tell me this. Why is it we can see the 3 silver butterflies, but not the red flowers, which are made of the same colour stitching as the unicorns on the colour photo?

Don't get me wrong - you're all probably right. But, while the pattern appears to match, the colouring seems completely wrong.

Wasn't there a blue version of the 1973 Snowflake jumpsuit that was made but never worn by Elvis???

Don't think theres any photos that have come out yet of Elvis wearing that suit ?
No there are no pictures of Elvis in this suit. If he wore it it was in Vegas in Jan/Feb '73, though.

I'm surprised nobody's yet mentioned these two from '73:

Multicolor.jpg
And, of course, the pale blue one from '77.

EDIT: oops...looks like, while I was getting the pictures, someone DID mention one of these suits :D

Can we please update this thread with these images hosted elsewhere? Would love to see them. This kind of topic is fascinating to me, that there are suits we've never seen.

Yes Elvis DID wear the blue pinwheel suit.
Vegas 20 Feb 1973.

some contactsheets of screen captures from 8mm were sold on ebay. And someone in a facebook group posted a photo of Elvis with a white scarf.
