Is there anyone living there right now? The whole yard looks terrible!!

No one is living in the home right now, sheila. It was recently purchased by Mike Curb and his associates, and a lot of work has been done in the last several months, stretching all the way back to Tribute Week, when a number of guys were working on the grounds. The swimming pool has been filled in, and a number of other things have been done, as well.

Are you asking if he's going to sue? He doesn't necessarily have legal rights in this case (per ebay). He lost the house to Mike Curb (as KH noted above).

There is an aerial view of the neighborhood in 1956 in some magazine that I have seen, and you are right, there was nearly no trees. When ELvis moved in, it evidently was a brand new development.

As I think about, when Elvis bought Graceland there we're trees surrounding the property especially across the street. Now there are none.

Just the opposite of the Audubon Drive house.

I love your Then and Now pics Peter - we were at Audubon August 2007 and the guys who were working there gave us some of the tiles from Elvis' swimming pool....we tried to get inside the gate but they wouldn't let us....Health and Safety I guess with them working there - it looked abit like a building site.

I was thrilled to be there though!

now it's impossible to go inside.
