Did you think the shadow behind Bill Black was hair ?

Or was it Gordon Stoker's feminine side that threw you ?

In 2002 - when Speer was 85 - he told Commercial Appeal that he was negotiating with a New York Collector - who offered an undisclosed sum un what Speer calls 'the high six-fugure range" for his orginal negatives. Seemst that Popsies brother, Michael Randolph was that New York Collector.

This is correct.

Always interesting that Al Wertheimer has never mentioned the presence of PoPsie in the RCA NY studios that day. At the very least they must have had some crossover during their respective photo sessions -- it appears Wertheimer was there for "Hound Dog" and rehearsals of "Don't Be Cruel," and PoPsie for "Don't Be Cruel" and "Any Way You Want Me."
