Brother, I thought the same thing when I first saw the article ie. not recalling ever seeing the photo's of the deceased! Anyway, I hope all is well in your neck of the woods! Sincerely !

That is very possible, Vissie. These things do make the rounds, and I might have seen it before, too. If so, it's been a while, because I couldn't tell you what the girls looked like prior to seeing funky's post.

Hovarter just couldn't catch a break...
Ironically, Hovarter was orphaned in 1965 when her parents were killed in an automobile accident
Surviving sister: research praised
This is in regard to your article in the Aug. 16 edition about Elvis Presley's death.
I am the sister of Alice Hovarter. I appreciate the fact that you remembered the two local people who lost their lives at that time.
Elvis was a very public figure and is missed. But I miss my sister, and it was nice to have her remembered. The article shows that reporter Robbie Evans did his research and shows his professionalism.
Evans had the facts right about my sister, and this is to be commended.
