Great photo's.
They prove however redecorating Graceland before opening for public was a wise decision..

Oh, I don't know. I kinda like it. It was definitely Elvis.

Some dogs have all the luck.

Great & rare photos indeed
I like the red but its too much red.....i like it more now royal blue & white
Very interesting to see elvis' private room...where Joe is sitting by the cabinets of books and stereo , you can see the Gibson J-200 there... i wish it would be a clear picture & larger
sincerely

I guess if it was just about taste, every room should be redecorated in
tasteful hardwoods, taupes, and sage green.

If Elvis liked the red theme well enough to live with it, then I think
the home should reflect his taste from 1977. The blue is more tasteful,
but Graceland isn't exactly about subdued taste ... its about Elvis and the height of 1970's design fads.

Thanks for posting the pics ... they give a fascinating glimpse into Graceland for the short lived "red" period.

Inside Graceland

Oh my god!
The way Elvis lived in Graceland in the Seventies is too much for me!
The decoration looks even worse than that of a "French brothel".
And no, I have never been to a French brothel!

But hey, after seeing quite a few homes of the rich and the famous (pictures and real) I must admit, these people sometimes don't have any taste at all.
